Youth Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church is an excellent place for young people to be involved in the work of the Lord. With weekly opportunities to serve in the church, involvement in the Nursing Home ministry, as well as an entire service each month conducted by the youth, the next generation of church leaders are being trained to continue the ministry. As well, there are monthy activities and an annual summer camp to provide plenty of time for fun and fellowship. Nursing Home Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church seeks to honor those who are up in years. Recognizing that many are physically unable to attend services at their church, Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church holds monthly services at three area homes to provide singing, preaching and fellowship for the elderly. The ladies of the church also hold a bi-weekly Bible Study for the ladies of a local facility. Radio Seeking to evangelize the sinner and encourage the saint, Strength For The Day is a fifteen minute daily broadcast, Monday through Friday each week. Currently airing on two radio stations KJAB and KPGB, there are plans to broaden this outreach ministry. Strength For The Day can be heard at 6:10 am CDT daily at www.KJAB.com.
